Mattia Cicogni

Graduated with Laude in October 2022 in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology (CTF) at the University of Siena in the Department of Biotechnology, Chemistry and Pharmacy with the thesis: “New chrysin derivatives with calcium antagonist activity,” obtained his professional license as a pharmacist in the same year. Since November 2022, he has been doing a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology – Bibim 2.0 (Cycle XXXVIII) at the University of Siena in co-tutorship with Fondazione Toscana Life Sciences (TLS) dealing mainly with mass spectrometry applied to proteomic analysis of various samples such as animal and plant tissues, biological fluids and cellular protein extracts.
