TLS ECOSYSTEM

The commitment of the Fondazione TLS goes beyond business incubation and in-house research. Today, TLS manages projects and facilities on behalf of its stakeholders, starting with the Region of Tuscany, and is increasingly acting as aggregator and system facilitator in the field of life sciences, both at a territorial level and on international projects. This is evidenced by a continuous accreditation of TLS at various levels that encompass the local, national, European and international spheres. The intent is to play increasingly strategic roles in projects and initiatives linked to the principal health challenges of the future.

Regional Cluster

The Fondazione Toscana Life Sciences is the operational entity that coordinates and manages the activities of the Tuscan Life Sciences Cluster.

ALISEI

ALISEI (Advanced Life Science in Italy) is the National Technology Cluster for Life Sciences, which aims to promote interaction between the research system, the entrepreneurial and productive fabric and public institutions in the healthcare sector, a strategic research and innovation nexus for Italy.

EUROPEAN AND INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS

In its role as facilitator of an innovation ecosystem, the TLS Foundation increasingly acts as an aggregator in the life sciences, both at the local level and on international projects.

PNRR/PNC PROJECTS

The TLS Foundation is involved in numerous PNRR (National Recovery and Resilience Plan) and PNC (National Plan for Complementary Investments) projects, which are key opportunities for the life sciences ecosystem development. More specifically, TLS is involved in promoting and strengthening the cooperation between the research field, the productive system, and the regional and national institutions.

THE TLS NETWORK

TLS works to foster dialogue and partnerships between public and private entities. It has created and continues to implement collaboration networks in the field of life sciences with the aim of offering incubated companies access to contacts and opportunities.
