The activity of the Fondazione TLS involves attracting and growing innovative startups and industrial projects, offering support and instruments to important public and private research projects, supporting companies in business development and technology transfer, enhancing and managing strategic projects for the healthcare system and for the entire life sciences sector in Tuscany. Through the bioincubator, TLS provides workspace, technologies and services and offers its support in the industrial, scientific and business development fields. In these years, it has played the role of aggregator and system facilitator in the life sciences sector and has built an increasingly mature innovation ecosystem, which to date counts 53 companies, including incubated and affiliated entities and non-profit research groups, with over 540 personnel.
