Dario Cardamone

Dario Cardamone is a researcher in the laboratory of Prof. Rino Rappuoli at Fondazione Toscana Life Sciences in Siena (Italy) and a PhD fellow in Complex Systems for Life Science at the University of Turin. His research is focused on combining high-content imaging with machine learning to investigate host-pathogen interaction and monoclonal antibody functionalities. In his previous experience at GSK Vaccines as Data Scientist, he worked on B cells repertoire analysis developing unsupervised clustering methods, based on sequence data, to integrate different assays readouts. In 2017, he received his Master of Science in Mathematics from the University of Bologna. During his studies, he visited the Humboldt University of Berlin, working as research assistant at the Zuse Institute Berlin (ZIB), on optimal design for supercomputer experiments.
