Edoardo Bucalo

Edoardo Bucalo obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Physics from the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Siena in 2023, and his Master’s degree in Physics from the University of Padua in 2025.

During his academic journey, he developed a strong interest in Machine Learning, deepening his knowledge through dedicated courses and lab work. His Master’s thesis focused on the application of neural networks to tomography for Plasma Fusion research, where he designed and implemented two models: a Deep Neural Network and a Convolutional Neural Network for tomographic image reconstruction.

He is currently working as a Junior Artificial Intelligence Technician at Data Science for Health (DaScH) Lab in Fondazione Toscana Life Sciences, where he is involved in the development and optimization of Artificial Intelligence models using various Machine Learning techniques.
