Technology 4 All (T4A) Srl was founded in 2008 as a spin-off of the University of Siena (Department of Information Engineering) and has been incubated at the TLS science park since 2010. The SME is geared toward the design and development of technological innovation solutions on web and mobile platforms, proposing applications in the domains of healthcare, public administration, tourism and cultural heritage.
The company's activities are linked to two business units: health and ICT.
The Health Division offers solutions for the remote monitoring of vital signs and telemedicine for the benefit of the elderly and patients with chronic diseases of different natures. The company caters to public bodies and private companies operating in the healthcare sector and in home care services, as well as general practitioners and specialists interested in modern telemedicine solutions at reduced costs.
Also in healthcare, the company offers solutions aimed at clinical risk management, with particular reference to the secure identification of patients in the hospital setting.
The ICT Division is characterized by research and development activities in the following thematic reference areas:
Multi-channel service platforms on web and mobile platforms (iOS and Android);
New navigation and interactivity paradigms for mobile devices, with particular reference to augmented reality technologies;
Beacon Technology, RF-Id and wireless sensor networks;
Innovative systems for cultural heritage and multimedia.
The CEO, Giovanni Luca Daino, is one of the winners of the Fulbright BEST 2008-2009 program.
