Toscana Biomarkers Announces Multiplex Assay System Research Collaboration Agreement with QuantiScientifics L.L.C.
Toscana Biomarkers & QuantiScientifics L.L.C. a research and development collaboration
Toscana Biomarkers S.r.l. is pleased to announce that has established a research and development collaboration with QuantiScientifics L.L.C., to develop a new Multiplex Assay System to diagnose and monitor autoimmune diseases. Pursuant to terms of a three phase agreement, both companies will research and develop oligo-peptide panels of autoimmune diseases tests using Toscana Biomarkers' peptides as active oligo-peptides and QuantiScientifics’A2 multiplex test platform. This new multiplex assay system will be able to perform multiple tests simultaneously within one well of a microplate from a single patient sample. Both companies will commercialize products in defined territories.
QuantiScientifics was founded in Irvine, California by a group of Beckman Coulter Hall of Fame Inventors and other professionals with a solid experience in developing multiplexed assays for clinical research and in-vitro diagnostic applications.
This agreement heightens Toscana Biomarker's focus on developing synthetic probes to identify autoantibodies related to autoimmune diseases and creates new and exciting opportunities to consolidate and expand its future activities.
