We are seeking for a graduate student on Chemistry, Biology, CTF, Biotechology or related fields which is interested to spend 6 mounts as a member of a project team focused on development of novel drugs.
As a member of the Biochemical/Pharma-toxicology group, you will be part of a team undertaking innovative scientific research into the mechanisms and treatment of microbial and fungal infections. You will be part of a team providing microbiology, cell biology expertise focused on the developing of new in vitro protocols to investigate the mechanism-of-action, potency and selectivity of novel drug candidates. You will learn basic of pathogens growth and manipulation, in vitro biofilm formation and profiling of new chemical entities using several different biochemical and cell-based assays. You will be mentored by an experienced researcher who will provide training, scientific direction and coaching.
