Italian Biosafety Platform (IBP) is a not-for-profit association managed by a Council of five members on a voluntary basis.
The aim is to promote biosafety in all its aspects, stimulating the transfer of knowledge on biosafety issues by the dissemination of information, and the organization of workshops. To this end, IBP fosters the mutual support of its membership in the exercise of their duties under the terms of the Italian and Europen regulations with regard to the work with biological agents and genetically modified microrganisms.
